Braid Theory hosts all LA-based programs from our co-working space at AltaSea. This unique waterfront location supports our mission to bring innovation to the forefront of the blue tech industry, helping entrepreneurs move out of the lab and into the marketplace. The space includes hot desks, private meeting rooms, and resources for technology demonstration and testing. We're helping build the Los Angeles blue economy ecosystem, bringing new businesses, industries, and technologies to the region. Our flagship gathering, IGNITE22, is located at AltaSea.

AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles | San Pedro, CA

AltaSea is redeveloping 35 acres of historic dockland at the Port of Los Angeles into a world-class oceanographic campus dedicated to ocean-based climate solutions at scale. It sits within North America's largest port complex and anchors the region's blue economy innovation hub.

Braid Theory hosts all European programs from BlueTechPort at the Port of Barcelona. This waterfront hub supports our mission to bring innovation to the forefront of the blue tech industry, helping entrepreneurs move from concept to market. Temporarily located at the World Trade Center Barcelona, the site includes coworking space, meeting rooms, and resources for technology demonstration and testing. We're helping build Barcelona's blue economy, bringing new businesses, industries, and technologies to the region. We leverage this Mediterranean location to connect founders to opportunities across Europe and beyond.

BlueTechPort | Sant Bertran

BlueTechPort, developed by the Port of Barcelona, is transforming 25,000 square meters of historic dockland into a center focused on innovation, research, and education in maritime technology. When completed in 2028, it will anchor the region's growing blue economy ecosystem.
