Set against the backdrop of the Port of Los Angeles, open water, and a clear sky… it was a strong reminder that logistics and sustainability aren't just "nice-to-haves." They are the backbone of this country and our standard of living.

Congratulations to the Braid Theory team for organizing another inspiring day that showcased technology from around the globe at our waterfront. This event truly activated our District with innovation and entrepreneurship.

A special thank you to the team at Braid Theory for bringing together such a diverse community of innovators and ecosystem builders. Convening the right people around meaningful challenges is often where progress begins.

It was an incredible experience joining a select group of blue economy innovators at IGNITE22 who are focused on building tangible solutions rather than dwelling on the problem.

We were honored to host this dynamic gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and industry leaders working together to advance solutions for some of our world's most pressing challenges.

We had some great conversations with fellow innovators, environmental advocates, and community leaders who care deeply about the future of our blue planet.

A highlight of the event was reconnecting with longtime partners and meeting new ones… These are exactly the partnerships that strengthen the international ecosystem our BlueTech startups rely on.

This is what the #BlueEconomy looks like. Innovation in ocean and marine tech everywhere, innovators and entrepreneurs from all walks of life and funders and investors of every stripe.

Events like this remind me how much momentum is building around the blue economy. Already looking forward to the next one.

The room was stacked: VCs, technologists, ecosystem builders, startups, and government leaders from the local to international level, all aligned around one of the most exciting and underestimated sectors in the innovation economy. Ocean tech is moving fast!
